1. What this site is

A free, public collection of calculators that model the arithmetic behind common financial and life decisions. There is no account, no registration, no payment and no service being sold. Using the site creates no contract between you and the operator (see the Imprint).

2. No advice, and no advisory relationship

Everything the site shows is model output computed from numbers you typed in. It is not financial, tax, legal, insurance or investment advice; it is not a personal recommendation; and it is not an offer, a solicitation or an invitation to buy, sell or hold anything. No advisory, client or fiduciary relationship arises from your use of the site, and none is offered by it.

Nothing you enter is transmitted to the operator (see the Privacy Policy), so your circumstances are unknown here and cannot have been taken into account. Before acting on anything you read here, consult a professional who knows your situation.

3. Not a regulated financial service

The operator is not a supervised financial institution, is not authorised by FINMA, and is not entered in a register of client advisers. The site provides no personal recommendation relating to any financial instrument and therefore provides no financial service within the meaning of the Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA/FIDLEG).

4. The models are simplifications

Every result depends entirely on the assumptions you enter, and each calculator states what it deliberately ignores. How the simulations work, and where they are wrong, is set out on the Methodology page. Past returns and modelled distributions say nothing reliable about future results.

5. Liability

The site is provided as it is, without any warranty that it is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of this site or from decisions taken on the basis of its output.

This exclusion expressly does not cover damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, nor any other liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law. Those remain, whatever else this page says.

6. Links to other sites

External links point to third-party sites that are outside the operator's control. No responsibility is taken for their content, their accuracy or how they handle your data.

7. Content and permitted use

The text, design, charts and code of this site belong to the operator. You may use, print and share the results you generate, including share links, for your own purposes, private or professional. You may not republish the site's text or charts as your own work, and you may not scrape it in bulk or use it to train or populate another service. Quoting a result with a link back is always fine.

The site is built with open-source software (Angular, KaTeX and others) and uses the Inter, IBM Plex Mono and Source Serif 4 fonts. Their licence notices are published at 3rdpartylicenses.txt and next to each font file; "Rolex" and other product names belong to their owners.

8. Availability

No uptime is promised. Calculators may change, be corrected or be removed, which can change the result a share link produces. A link encodes the inputs, not a stored copy of the answer, and nothing about it is kept on the server.

9. Governing law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, and the place of jurisdiction is the operator's domicile in Bülach, Switzerland. If you are a consumer domiciled in Switzerland or in the EU/EEA, the mandatory protective jurisdiction rules of your home state still apply to you; this clause does not take them away.

10. Changes

These terms are updated when the site changes. The version below is the one that applies.
